At Park Care Centre / Sorgsentrum, our Palliative Care services provide compassionate, holistic support for residents living with life-limiting illnesses or advanced medical conditions. Our focus is on comfort, dignity, and quality of life, while offering reassurance and support to both residents and their families.
Residents are cared for by a highly skilled and experienced nursing team, available 24/7, with a high staff-to-resident ratio to ensure personalised, attentive care tailored to individual needs.
Comprehensive nursing support includes assistance with all daily living activities that can no longer be managed safely or comfortably, alongside careful medication management for pain and symptom control in accordance with medical prescriptions. Health monitoring is ongoing and responsive, allowing for prompt action whenever needs change.
Comfort-focused care forms the heart of our approach, including regular positioning, turning, and skin-integrity care to relieve discomfort and promote safety. Our environment is purpose-designed to offer calm, security, and continuous supervision, allowing staff to respond immediately to any change in condition.
Emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual support is available to residents and their families, providing guidance, reassurance, and comfort throughout this sensitive journey. Families are actively involved in care planning and decision-making wherever appropriate, with open and ongoing communication maintained at all times.
Residents have access to Medical Doctor visits when required, and additional supportive therapies may be arranged privately where appropriate.
All palliative care services are delivered in full compliance with national health regulations, professional care guidelines, and recognised international palliative care principles.
