About Frail Care or Mid-to-High Nursing Care
At Park Care Centre / Sorgsentrum, our Frail Care and Mid-to-High Nursing Care wards provide comprehensive, 24/7 professional nursing support for residents with higher care needs. Our focus is on safety, comfort, dignity, and compassionate care at every stage.
Residents are supported by a highly skilled nursing team, with a high staff-to-resident ratio ensuring personalised attention and continuous supervision. Individualised care plans are developed and reviewed regularly to meet each resident’s specific medical and personal needs.

Residents receive full assistance with daily living, including personal hygiene, incontinence care, dressing, feeding, mobility support, and all activities they are unable to perform independently. Care is delivered respectfully and with sensitivity at all times.
Medical care is carefully managed, including strict medication administration according to doctors’ prescriptions, regular health monitoring, and timely access to Medical Doctor visits as either private or state patients.
For residents with complex needs, specialised nursing care is provided, including pressure care management, PEG feeding support, catheter and colostomy care, and care for residents in Persistent Vegetative or Minimally Conscious States. All clinical protocols follow best-practice standards, with strong emphasis on comfort, infection control, and dignity.
Emotional, behavioural, social, and spiritual support form part of our holistic care approach, supported by access to social work services, counselling, and spiritual care where desired. Families are kept informed through clear, ongoing communication and are involved in care decisions wherever possible.
Rehabilitation and specialised therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech or swallowing therapy, and biokinetics can be arranged privately to support comfort, mobility, and the slowing of functional decline.
