At Park Care Centre / Sorgsentrum, our Respite Care service offers short-term, compassionate care for residents who need a temporary stay in a safe and supportive environment. With dedicated rooms available and the ability to admit at short notice when criteria are met, we provide a welcoming “home away from home” for residents and peace of mind for their families.
Residents receive attentive, 24/7 nursing support tailored to their individual needs, comfort, and routines. Our experienced nursing team ensures continuous supervision, safety, and personalised care throughout each resident’s stay.
Assistance is provided with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meals, mobility, medication management, and activity reminders, while encouraging as much independence as possible. Health monitoring is adapted to individual needs, ranging from routine observations to more frequent checks where required.
Residents have access to Medical Doctor visits when needed, as well as optional rehabilitation and therapy services arranged privately. Participation in our engaging activity programme, concerts, and events is encouraged according to each resident’s abilities and preferences, helping maintain connection, enjoyment, and emotional wellbeing.
Our secure, purpose-designed environment offers monitored access and supervision, with structured outings arranged where appropriate. Ongoing communication with families ensures loved ones remain informed, supported, and involved throughout the respite stay.
